Get Back In the Swamp!

I've been graciously handed the keys to the kingdom at The Festering Swamp, courtesy of its founders, David and Julie Scott. This site will remain behind for a time as a placeholder, linking to other blogs run by Cathy Fans. But the main action -- where I will be nearly all the time -- is at the Swamp.

The Swamp will be run for the benefit of stimulating conversation, and Bradley "Trollslayer" Fikes will ensure that trolls are verboten.

A New Home For Fans of Cathy Seipp

I'm shifting my blogging for fans of the late Cathy Seipp to this newly created blog. So I am phasing out of my posting at The Festering Swamp. I wish the Swampers all success, but need to strike out on my own. (As others have done before me).

This will be a meta-blog, where I'll keep track on what other Fans of Cathy are doing in their blogs, as well as my own posts.

The idea is to keep a network going among those who knew and/or admired Cathy and her work, such as Dana, Mike LaRoche, Mike K., allan, Dmac, doug, Charlotte, Vivian Louise, Lisa, TexasJew, Kenneth from Alabama, D.L. from Heidelberg, Odysseus, LYT, and many others.

More meatier posts will follow, and I'm going to add some quick hit links and observations about what other Fans of Cathy bloggers are doing.

In the meantime, I suggest you check out Amy Alkon, who always has something interesting at Advice Goddess. Amy. a Libertarianish person, had one of those transideological friendships with Cathy, a moderate conservative. And Amy is at her best when she takes down rude and socially obnoxious people. Go Amy!
